Indonesia is located between Australian, Eurasian and Pasific plates. Beside that, Indonesia is included in Pasific fire ring. It makes Indonesia often experiences earthquakes, both tectonic and volcanic. Earthquake has some effects on the society.

First, earthquake causes the loss of property. High intensity earthquake can cause the destruction of building in areas that sustain the effects of the earthquake. Either public infrastructure or private buildings will be destroyed. It makes people suffer a lot of material loss. Besides that, rebuilding the destroyed buildings will spend a lot of time and money.

Second, earthquake causes the loss of family and relatives. During the earthquake, people run frantically to save themselves. They do not have time to bring along all of their family and prefer to save themselves. Many people die from being buried in the ruins of buildings and being trampled by others. However, finding the lost family and relatives requires a lot of time.

At last, earthquake causes prolonged trauma to the society. People who experienced an earthquake will be panicked when they feel even the slightest shake. Especially those who live in the coastal and mountainous area, because the effect will be worse than the other area. After all, curing people’s trauma needs a lot of time.

In the conclusion, earthquake has some impacts on the society such as the material loss, the family loss and permanent trauma. To reduce those impacts, the government must give an early warning so the people can save themselves in time.

My 3rd Semester

My 3 rd Semester In the third semester, I felt very comfortable. My classmates are very friendly, so I'm not too difficult to adjust with them. They are also good and like to help each other in the lesson. When I did not understand about the lesson, I will ask and discuss it with my friend. In the third semester, I also just got to know the lesson called linguistic and literature. At first I had a hard time because I had not gotten a picture of the lesson. Then, I learned that linguistics was more focused on memorization, and literature focusing more on practice. In my opinion the most difficult lesson is grammar, because if we don't understand the lesson we will also have difficulties in writing, reading, and etc. Sometimes I have difficulties to divide time to study between one lesson and another. The reason is because sometimes I more focus on learning to lessons that I can't and other lessons are little disturbed. Therefore, in the next semester I will change...

They can be relaxed after the class, they can go to anywhere they want, and they also can work part time. In fact, learning in university makes me busier than I was in the school. Moreover most of the assignment is more complicated. There are some differences between learning in University and in the school.                 When studying in University, I am required to be self-learning. Most of the lecturer usually only teach about the basic of the materials. If we do not study by ourselves and only based on what lecturer give to us, we will get nothing. Besides, sometimes lecturer have asked to the student read before enter in the class. Then in the class is only to discuss about the difficulties, the lecturer only answer the question fr...
