Music

Music is an art of sound that expresses ideas and emotions through rhythm, melody, and harmony. There are 2 kinds of music namely traditional, and modern music. Traditional music is a music that shows the culture of a region, and modern music is a music that always changes in every era. Modern music divided into 3 types according to regions, genres, and exclusions.

The first type is by regions, because each region has a different kind of modern music. Afrobeat, apala, benga, bikutsi, and chimurenga are music that comes from African. Other place is Asian there are, fijiri, liwa, and sawt. Then there are enka, J-pop, and K-pop that come from East Asian.

The second is by genres, that is grouping of music according to their similarities. Experimental music, noise, and lo-fi are included in Avant-garde. Other genre is blues, there are blues rock, Canadian blues, and contemporary R&B. Then the most popular genre is pop there are canzone, cancion, and chalga.

The final type is by exclusions, that is genres or styles that are not contemporary or commercially marketed. Pasodable and cha cha cha are included in ballroom dance. Then there are Gregorian chant, spirituals, and hymns that fall  into religious music.

Various music consists of various types but shortened into 3 types. People often listen a modern music without knowing the type of music. Therefore, it will be better for us to listen a music and know the type of music.

"13 Reason Why."               I have to say, if now you were a teenager you must watch this legit Netflix drama series at least once in your life. Because this series talked about some common and serious issues in teenagers life like bullying, abuse, rape and nuances of being teenager in this era or age of technology.
