The Advantages of Smoking

It is commonly people speaking that smoking is very dangerous. They even believe that it can kill not only the smokers but also people around them. Many kinds of picture in that cigarette pack explain those dangerous. However, I strongly believe that smoking brings advantages because of two significant reasons.

First, every pack of cigarette has been given tax label by the factory. It means that the tax is for the country's income. The more people buy cigarette, the more income for the country. Moreover, in Indonesia, most societies are great cigarette consumers. In 2017, the cigarette tax contributed more than 150.81 trillion for the APBN. Thus, cigarette is the crucial element in economic side.

Second, there are many unemployments in Indonesia. For instance nobody buys the cigarette, there will be many cigarette factories collaps because their products are not sold and people who work in that factories will lose their work. If so, the number of the unemployments will be significantly increased.

To sum up, although people belive that smoking has disadvantages, they should consider that it saves many people and the country economy.
