Cigarettes = Medicine

Today many people assume that smoking can cause disease. worse, most of them think so only because they see a warning that is usually found on cigarette packaging, posters, and anti-smoking campaigns without reviewing the origin of the cigarette itself.
initially, in Indonesia cigarettes were created to be used as drugs or therapeutic means. the inventor was H. Jamhari, who at that time suffered from asthma. H. Jamhari tried to concoct tobacco and cloves, then he bugged with paper and then he burned it. when smoked, the object raises the sound of kretek, kretek, kretek. this is where the word kretek is used as a typical Indonesian cigarette name. after routinely sucking clove, the asthma that H. Jamhari suffered began to diminish and disappear, then at that time it was believed to be a medicine.

Knowing the greatness of the efficacy of Indonesian kretek, foreign cigarette entrepreneurs collaborate with a health organization to issue a warning that smoking can endanger health. this was done because they were jealous of the quality of Indonesian clove cigarettes and that Indonesian kretek cigarettes were also reduced. then what happen? As a result, many people believe in the warning and make anti-smoking groups that voice healthy lifestyles without smoking. of course this can harm the potential of tobacco farmers in Indonesia.
