Movie Review:
Heroine Shikkaku (Live Action)
Make you heartbroken
and fall in love!
Heroine
Shikkaku (also known as Disqualified Heroine, No Longer Heroine) is a film
adapted from the same tittled manga by Koda Momoko in 2015. Directed by
Hanabusa Tsutomu, this film has a romance-comedy genre that many teenagers and
adults like. Heroine Shikkaku
premiered in theaters at September 19 2015.
This film tells the story of a high school
student named Matsuzaki Hatori (starred by Kiritani Mirei) who falls in
love with her childhood friend, Terasaka Rita (starred by Yamazaki
Kento). Hatori believes, later Rita will reciprocate her feelings. But
unexpectedly, Rita was dating someone else named Adachi Miho (starred by
Wagatsuma Miwako). Hatori, who had hoped full and heartbroken, did not want to
give up because the person who was liked by Rita was an ordinary girl who was
unpopular. After that, he met the most popular guy at his school, Hiromitsu
Kosuke (starred by Sakaguchi Kentaro), and since then Kosuke has put his
heart on Hatori.
I like this film because the
plot doesn’t change much from the manga version. Besides the actors are my
favorite, their acting were extraordinary. They can make the scene ‘alive’. In addition,
there are some special effects that make it looks real and dramatic in the precise
amount. Even though the plot seems a bit cliché, but I highly recommend the
fans orf rom-com genre to watch it.
