Uneducating TV Programs

Indonesia has many kinds of TV programs. Many TV programs bring good effects to the audiences. Unfortunately, not every TV programs bring positive effects to the audiences, especially the underage audiences. There are some uneducating TV programs in Indonesia.

First, uneducating TV program in Indonesia is sinetron. For example, ‘Anak Jalanan’ is a sinetron aired in RCTI at 2015. It have some bad contents such as violence, illegal street racing and dating. ‘Ganteng Ganteng Serigala’ inspired by a film entitled ‘Twilight Saga’. This sinetron is aimed for teenagers and adults but it is aired when the children still awake.

In addition, uneducating TV program in Indonesia is reality show. For example, the famous reality show ‘Rumah Uya’ that used to solve people’s problem is later found as a fiction. Similar to ‘Rumah Uya’, ‘Katakan Putus’ is also found as a fiction program. Besides that, those programs have bad contents such as curse, violence, and love affair.

Finally, uneducating TV program in Indonesia is comedy show. Some comedy shows such as ‘YKS’ and ‘Pesbukers’ have negative content such as curse and violence. Some violent scenes that aired even though using harmless tools can affect to the underage audiences. They will think that violence is a common thing because many people laugh at it.

In the conclusion, not every TV programs that are aimed to entertain people is good. It can give bad effects to the audiences, especially the underage audiences. The parents must to accompany and give explanation to their children to avoid the bad effects.
