How
To Lose Weight
Diet is a regulation of the type and amount of food with certain intentions,
such as maintaining health and nutritional status and helping to cure
disease (Hartono, 2000). Stanford University researchers have
experimented with 600 overweight adults on different diet programs. The results
of the study show that they can lose similar weight to different diet programs.
The following is ways to reduce weight effectively and quickly.
The
key to losing weight is not only by reducing carbohydrate consumption, but also
by regulating meal times, which prove to be more effective in achieving weight
loss goals. A study shows the benefits of giving time-restricted feeding (TRF),
which allows one to eat as desired according to the scheduled time pattern.
Determine the time when you have to stop eating, so you are no longer tempted
to eat late at night, or snack when watching television. In addition to losing
weight, this process is also claimed to reduce the risk of diabetes.
Eating
lots of fruits and vegetables that are low in calories can help reduce the
consumption of other foods that are high in fat and calories. This one diet
method is highly recommended for you who is not strong enough to resist hunger,
because this diet encourages you to consume more fruits and vegetables more.
Not only contains vitamins and minerals, these two foods also contain fiber and
water. This content can make you feel full longer. Fruits and vegetables also
have low calories, so you don't have to worry too much if you consume them in
large quantities.
In addition, multiply walking. Try to walk up to
10,000 steps per day. You don't need to be too fast, you can add this intensity
slowly. Do whatever you can to be more active every day. You can try to walk
while taking a call, take your pet for a walk, or make a move during a
television ad. You can also buy a pedometer to calculate your footsteps to be
more motivated to walk.
In conclusion, there are three
stages in reducing body weight, the first stage is arranging the schedule of
meals, then consuming lots of vegetables, and the last one increasing the
amount of exercise such as walking. Losing weight is not an easy process and it requires
full motivation, hard work, and determination. On doing a diet, the target time
and the goals should be set; adjusting symptoms and balanced with sports
activities so that the diet process will stay healthy.
