As we know, a long time ago it was really hard to communicate with each other or even people from outsiders. With the development of technology, at last telephone was made and it is used till now. Those genius people made many useful stuff such as telephone, mobile-phone, airplane, computer and so on. However, those kinds of items were really rare in the past, but now it is really common to everyone and almost everyone has it. Presently, there is one useful thing that is used by everyone to communicate with each other quickly and simply, which is Internet. Using internet, people can communicate with others even with a long distance. Moreover, it may also be used for gaming, web-browsing, chatting, downloading, sharing files, etc. However, there are many advantages and disadvantages of internet for children.

One major advantage of internet for kids is that good for kids to know how to use a computer and internet. They can use it for searching good articles and syllabus for their schools.  Besides, that is an excellent form of communication. Immediately, effectively and fast, Children can be connected with people who are in other countries or be in permanent contact with relatives who are away. Moreover, it helps to socialize more timid children. Through chats or hangouts, they can make contact with other children from other cultures or places more easily. Furthermore, It is an entertainment tool. There are innumerable online games to improve the attention of hyperactive children or as a resource for children with special educational needs. Well-understood and controlled play can be positive, stimulating and didactic.

On the other hand, internet has some disadvantages. Internet is loaded with inappropriate content such as nude pictures and videos. Allowing children to browse any kind of website can be very dangerous. One recent survey conducted in United States Of America (U.S.A.) stated that 75% of rapists are addicted to watch porn videos. Besides, Internet can make children addicted to social websites such as Facebook and Twitter. They waste most of their time on useless information. Such as checking walls of friends and looking fanny picture. Furthermore, wasting time to browse in their computer in a long time can adopts bad sitting and laying habits when they feel tired on their computer chair. These habits can be really harmful as because of these habits one may lose his whole posture. Finally, Internet makes the children do not like to go around with friends and play games or have fun. The Internet becomes their one and only way of having fun. It makes them to be anti-social person.

In conclusion, I believe that although internet provide entertainment and help their education, it may have negative impact on children when they do not use it in the right way. For those reasons, internet usage for children needs to be in control from adult.
