How
to Preserve Indonesian Cultures
Culture is the arts and other manifestations of human
intellectual achievement regarded collectively. All countries have their own
characteristics in culture, as well as in Indonesia. there are so many cultures
in Indonesia, but the culture will eventually become extinct. We as young
generation must preserve the culture. There are three ways to preserve
Indonesia cultures.
First, recognize culture. Culture should be introduced to
us from childhood, so we can get used to loving our culture. If we don’t do
that, we can also recognize our culture by find out about that, especially the characteristics
of each culture. The, you can try to learn it by following activities or
communities about culture.
Secondly, teach our culture to others. As a young
generation, we are required to be more active in maintaining cultural
preservation. We can teach about culture in around us by introducing how
beautiful and rich culture in Indonesia. we can also introduce our culture to
abroad by posting culture activities on social media, using local products, and
exporting local products.
Finally, acculturate the culture. The more advanced an era,
the culture will also fade away. The solution is adjust the culture according
to the era by combine a culture then produces a new culture without losing the
original characteristics. Therefore, people can accept the culture and use it
as an identity.
In conclusion, we can do something to maintain cultural
existence such as knowing, introducing, and combining our culture. Therefore,
our culture will not easily influenced by foreign cultures and not easily
claimed by other countries.
