Online Transportation

Indonesia is well known as countries that have many public transportation. Such as, angkot, ojek, pedicab, bus, that we call it conventional transportation. Nowadays, there are online transportation because of technology advances. But, it makes public transportation system in Indonesia is not working properly, because of frequent demonstrations between online transportation and conventional transportation. In Indonesia, there are many people who agree and disagree with online transportation.

There are three reasons why people agree with online transportation. One of the reasons is they have affordable price, especially if there is a big day they usually give discount. In addition, they make easier the user. Because if we want to use online transportation, we just need to open our mobile phone and order, then we can go to place that we want. Finally, online transportation provides convenience to the user. Convenience here means the user must really be a priority of online transportation.

On the other hand, some people disagree with online transportation because they think that online transportation is not listed in the law. If we used it we would be unlawful. So, rules about online transportation are left to each region. In addition, income conventional transportation has decreased. The reason is because people prefer to use online transportation than conventional transportation. Thirdly, people think that online transportation make competition unfair because they use prices below the terms. Online transportation has a cheaper price than an conventional transportation.

To sum up, even though online transportation was debated by the public, but we can take positive value and benefits from online transportation. As a society, we should be more critical thinking about technology advances. So, we can more smart to take advantage of technology advances such as online transportation.
